Unwritten Letters is a transformative space dedicated to emotional healing. It welcomes women who are ready to engage with openness, respect, and a genuine desire for growth. We celebrate diverse experiences, backgrounds, and beliefs, as long as each participant arrives with the intention to heal, fostering a nurturing environment free from harm or disruption. This is a sanctuary devoid of debate, division, or distraction—a place for restoration and transformation. If your heart is prepared, you are warmly welcomed here.
Unwritten Letters: Healing the Heart You Still Carry emerged from a heartfelt desire to create a nurturing environment where women can pause, reflect, and gently release the emotional burdens they’ve carried for too long. Our very first gathering took place in June 2025, and the experience was truly transformative in ways I could hardly have imagined. To honor this vision and gain valuable insights, we offered our initial workshop free of charge as a gentle introduction. This allowed us to refine the experience thoughtfully while remaining attuned to the needs of the women who joined us.
Participants described the workshop using words like “therapeutic,” “healing,” “supportive,” “necessary,” “freeing,” and “emotionally eye-opening.” One woman beautifully expressed, “It was more than I expected and everything I didn’t know I needed.”
As we look forward to our next Unwritten Letters workshop on Saturday, August 16, 2025, we will be introducing a small registration fee of $75.00. This fee will help us cover the costs of materials, curated journaling kits, morning refreshments, a full lunch, and keepsake items enabling us to expand and enhance this meaningful experience with intention, compassion, and care. We hope to nurture a space that continues to support and uplift all who attend.
What part of the workshop impacted you the most?
~The stories shared, how we were guided to open our hearts and share with women so different, but all with the same purpose of healing.
~The intimacy and communal feel. I felt so seen, heard, and supported by all of my fellow participants and the facilitator.
What feedback do you have about the space and atmosphere of the room?
~The size was perfect. The atmosphere of the room was wonderful, but the sounds from the kitchen did occasionally pull focus. I had a wonderful experience and don't feel that I need anything to have enhanced it.
I~ think the size was perfect. Our group was chatty, intimate, and detailed, but I never felt a sense of urgency. I felt free.
Is there anything else you'd like to share about your experience?
~Gave us tools for the future, to continue working on ourselves, and gave us a beautiful group, with whom I hope to continue sharing. I’m glad I went, and I also made new friends. Mrs. Charlotte was amazing and very kind!
Was there anything that surprised you during the experience?
~My own openness as well as that of the other participants.
~I was surprised at how excited everyone was to stay in touch.
Would you recommend this workshop to another woman? Why or why not?
~Yes. We spend a lot of time working and taking care of others. When we get free time, we spend it working on our appearance (shopping, hair, nails, exercising, etc.) We need to plan time to connect with ourselves. This workshop was the perfect excuse for me to take time and connect with myself.
Did you feel supported, emotionally safe, seen, and heard?
~All participants select "Yes, completely."
~Maya Angelou~ I know Why the Caged Bird Sings
The night I wrote my letter, I embraced a moment of vulnerability that was a deeply personal release long overdue. I never intended to create a workshop, let alone share that moment with others. When I finished, I understood —the letter was for me, and that was enough.
As I reflected on this experience, I began to wonder if other women might benefit from a similar moment—a space to breathe, reflect, and let go. Initially, I brushed the idea aside; after all, as a therapist, I guide women through healing every day. But my heart wouldn’t let it rest. I decided to gather a few trusted friends for a small, informal run-through. We were unprepared for the depth of emotion it stirred within all of us. Their encouragement, along with the responses above from that first workshop, confirmed an undeniable truth: this experience is essential.
During counseling sessions, I am intentional about guarding my story because it isn't about me; it is about your healing. I shared my journey to illustrate why this space holds special significance for me. It is more than just another workshop. It is a healing space created with your heart in mind. I hope that when you arrive, you feel welcomed, open to the experience, and leave feeling just a little lighter, because some things were never meant to be carried forever.
Sincerely, Ms. Charlotte
Upon completion of the registration form and payment of the associated fee, you will receive a confirmation email that secures your attendance and provides additional information to facilitate your preparation for the workshop..
